PubMed Central Canada represents a collaboration between the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), and the National Research Council's Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (NRC-CISTI). PMC Canada is a FREE digital archive of full-text, peer-reviewed health and life sciences literature.
CIHR grant recipients are required to make their peer-reviewed publications freely accessible online within six months of publication. PMC Canada allows authors to deposit their manuscripts for inclusion in the open archive, thereby meeting the requirement of the CIHR Policy on Access to Research Outputs.
