Springer has an open access journal!

All faculty members and students at Western have BioMed Central Membership since the Western Libraries pays for this membership. Now, as part of BioMed Central, we can publish in spingerPlus.

SpringerPlus is Springer's first open access journal with a broad, interdisciplinary approach, covering all subject areas. The journal accepts manuscripts describing original research as well as case descriptions and methods, and also encourages submission of data reports and large datasets.  This is open access and peer-reviewed journal.

As SpringerPlus is now part of the SpringerOpen portfolio, it is covered by our BioMed Central, Chemistry Central and SpringerOpen Membership.
