Altmetric.com tools are added to BioMed Central

Now you can find Trending Articles published with BioMed Central, Chemistry Central and SpringerOpen by researchers at University of Western Ontario. The 'donut' badge next to the article title indicates  when and where an article has been tracked by Altmetric.com (different social media). The donut is colour coded:

• blue for Twitter
• dark blue for Facebook
• yellow for blogs
• red for mainstream media
• orange for Pintrest, etc.   

You can even see who is twitting about the article and where it has been discussed. Click on the donut and then click on to see more.
